Tip Top Bio-Control – Garden Enthusiast Supply

Phytoseiulus Persimilis - (Predator) "For Fast Action!"

Temperature range
55
°– 85° Fahrenheit, 60% – 80% Relative Humidity. Minimum temperature for activity 50° Fahrenheit.

Adult
Bright orange mites, a bit larger than 2 spotted Spider Mites.

Feeds On
Actively seek out and consume 20 young or 5 adult Spider Mites per day. Breed twice as fast as Spider Mites at 70
° Fahrenheit, therefore quickly gain control. They do not form webs. Great for a quick knockdown!

Shipped
As adult in vermiculite (bottles or vials), and also on bean leaves. The vials containing 1,000 or 2,000 mites is easier to apply and more accurate for distribution. The bottles contain more carrier so they are not as accurate when dispersing. Bean leaves containing all generations from egg thru adult, and also some pest mites for food, are the best option.

Release Rates
Immediately by sprinkling on infested plants. Rates vary greatly depending on your crop level of infestation. Therefore the more you introduce the faster the control! 10-20 predators per infested plant.

Prevention
2,000 per 3,000 sq. ft. of greenhouse area.
Bean levels: 500 per 20 medium size plants for high infestations.
