Adult
Australian lady beetle approximately 1/6" long, black and orange head.

Larva
The young are covered with a white waxy film which makes them look similar to mealybugs.

Feeds on
Mealybugs, long tailed mealybugs, aphids and soft shelled scale.

Release Rates
2 to 5 per plant or 1 per 1 sq. ft. 600 to 1,000 per mature fruit tree.

Notes: Must have a minimum of 8 hours of light. Excellent for Interiorscapes. For long tailed mealybugs, also use lacewing larvae. For root mealybugs, use Beneficial Nematodes.
